Ms. Jenner

Norma Jenner has been at Villa Academy since 2000 (left for two years, but came back!), working in the role that has evolved into “Academic and Student Life Coordinator”. In addition to helping with school logistics behind the scenes, she helps coordinate social-emotional learning and experiential student programs.

High School Application Process

Ms. Jenner is passionate about helping young people grow as authentic and compassionate community members. She has over 20 years of experience instructing school age students in a variety of settings, with a specialty in outdoor leadership for girls. She holds a bachelors degree in Urban, Social, and Political Geography from the University of Washington, has completed graduate coursework in School Counseling at Seattle University, and has maintained over 10 years of Wilderness First Aid certification.

Ms. Jenner loves going on outdoor adventures (especially with her dog Gus), doing all kinds of crafty projects, playing the ukulele, and learning something new every day.
